1. The accounting firm must close the reporting for the past period, file the balance sheet, and obtain a tax clearance certificate confirming that the company has no debts to the state.
2. The lawyers file an application with the register for the liquidation of the company. After the first stage is completed, a notice of the company’s liquidation is published in the Official Gazette. If within one month there are no claims against this company from legal entities or individuals, the company proceeds to liquidation.
3. For the liquidation, the accountants prepare the final zero liquidation balance sheet, which is submitted for review and approval.
4. The liquidation paperwork is processed.
As of January 2025, the average time frame for liquidating a company is 4–6 calendar months.
